5. Life Events Package Guide

How to create a wedding and milestone-event package that sells — with examples of how to fill in the fields

Written by Paula Straume

1. Purpose of the package

The life events package gives the whole venue in private use and the freedom to design your own day — weddings and other major life milestones. A private banquet hall from the ceremony to the last dance, a day rental with a menu and drinks per person, so the couple immediately sees the total price of the entire day.

2. Who the package is for

The life events package mainly speaks to two personas, both of whom value privacy and trust. NB! These personas and this package are made for weddings; every life event has its own personas and expectations.

Bride and groom — Planning a ceremony and evening party for 30–500 guests. Value privacy, freedom in catering, and the possibility to party into the late hours.

Wedding planner — Organizes the entire day on the couple's behalf; needs flexible, sensitive communication, clear capacities, and a reliable partner.

3. Key elements of the package

The life events package stands on four pillars. The completeness and privacy of the venue are the core; clear rules keep a sensitive day safely together.

  • Space and privacy (the core) — a ceremony and party area in private use, an indoor option for bad weather; the completeness of the venue is the core.

  • Catering — a wedding menu, bar service, or own food/alcohol allowed; the menu is a personal choice.

  • Entertainment and accommodation — DJ/band, photo booth, guest rooms, next-day brunch.

  • Clear rules — quiet hours and end time, decorating and cleanup time, advance notice and security deposit (weddings are booked early).

4. Mandatory vs optional — why

We recommend marking as mandatory only what the event cannot happen without. Leave everything else optional so the client can configure the package precisely themselves and is not scared off by a high base price. This keeps the base price low and trustworthy, while the extras raise the average order.

Recommended mandatory parts

  • Banquet hall (private rental) — the private heart of the whole day; the choice of layout (standing, seated, theatre) defines the format of the ceremony and the party.

  • Wedding dinner (minimum number of portions) — the dinner is the central cost of a wedding; a minimum quantity protects the profitability of a large property.

  • Bar credit — secures the base spend on drinks and simplifies settling the evening's bill.

Recommended optional parts

  • DJ / band, photo booth, wedding car — every wedding is personal; let the couple choose the entertainment according to their own scenario.

  • Accommodation (lux/business rooms) — for guests coming from farther away; depends on the number of guests.

  • Wedding cake, second-day brunch — extras that complement the day when needed.

5. Example: filling in the fields step by step

Below, each screen explains separately what to enter in the fields and why. The example used is a real package, "Private Dream Wedding" (Arkna Mõisaloss).

Venue page

What to check — whether it has been entered under the venue's elements

  • Elegant photos of the hall festively set, in the package's menu — this sells the dream.

  • Description, location, and host in the venue description.

  • Maximum capacity: seated, standing, and sleeping places — at a wedding, all three count.

Why this matters

The couple's first impression is emotional; festive photos and a large capacity show right away whether the dream day fits here.

Package name, key elements

What to add to the package

  • The package name and a warm description.

  • Mandatory banquet hall with a price and layouts with capacities: Standing (500), Seated (300), Cabaret, Theatre, U-shape.

Why this matters

The hall is the heart of the day; the choice of layouts allows shaping the ceremony, the dinner, and the dance floor alike.

  • Mandatory wedding dinner (min 10 portions, 5-course) and bar credit.

  • Optional: second-day brunch and wedding cake.

  • Mark clearly what counts toward the minimum spend.

  • Accommodation (lux/business rooms, minimum number of rooms) for guests coming from farther away.

Why this matters

The dinner and drinks are the main cost of a wedding and are mandatory; leave the cake and brunch optional so the couple can put together their own scenario.

  • Entertainment: DJ/band, photo booth; additional service: wedding car.

  • Everything optional — the couple adds what they need.

Why this matters

Entertainment and accommodation are a personal choice and depend on the number of guests; keeping them optional keeps the base price low and lets every couple configure their own day.

  • Enter and check the Icons: own food and alcohol (not allowed here — house catering), no tickets, representative.

  • Booking settings: minimum 24 h, 14 days' advance notice — weddings are booked early.

  • Room features: DJ, backstage room, lift, wheelchair, separate entrance.

Why this matters

Rules and a deposit are critical for a sensitive, expensive event; early advance notice and clear catering rules prevent misunderstandings later.

6. What else you could offer

To increase the value of the package, also consider:

  • a wedding planner or coordinator,

  • a master of ceremonies,

  • preparation room(s) for the couple,

  • a make-up artist/hairdresser,

  • a florist,

  • decor and floral arrangements,

  • a ceremony area,

  • an officiant,

  • fireworks or spark fountains,

  • childcare,

  • a guest transfer,

  • a photographer, videographer, and drone,

  • a keepsake service

  • a backup plan for bad weather.

Price these as optional — that way they add value and increase the average order without raising the base price.

A good life events package sells completeness and trust. When the venue, menu, and rules come at one clear price, the couple entrusts their most important day to you
