1. Purpose of the package
The culture package provides, with a single booking, a performance-ready venue where ticketed events are allowed — concerts, galas, festivals, and cultural evenings. At the heart of the package are the stage, sound and lighting equipment, and the audience area, together with clear ticket sales and security requirements.
2. Who the package is for
The culture package mainly speaks to two personas, both of whom need technical readiness.
Event organizer — Brings a performer in front of an audience and needs a stage, sound and lighting, and clear ticket sales rules. Values technical readiness and security. |
Band manager / agency — Organizes a concert or a tour stop; needs a backstage area, a soundcheck, and reliable equipment. |
3. Key elements of the package
The culture package stands on four pillars. The stage and professional equipment are the core; ticket sales and security keep the event in order.
Space and stage (the core) — a concert hall with a stage, sound and lighting equipment, and a backstage area.
Equipment and crew — the house sound and lighting together with an on-site technician; soundcheck included in the price.
Ticket sales and security — audience capacity, door staff, ticket checks, a cloakroom.
Clear rules — sound curfew and end time, rehearsal and stage-build time, maximum audience size.
4. Mandatory vs optional — why
We recommend marking as mandatory only what the event cannot happen without. Leave everything else optional so the client can configure the package precisely themselves and is not scared off by a high base price. This keeps the base price low and trustworthy, while the extras raise the average order.
We recommend marking as mandatory
Concert hall + stage — the heart of the performance; the choice of layout (standing, seated, banquet) defines the event format.
Sound technician — professional sound is the foundation of a concert's quality and safety; mandatory for the event to succeed.
We recommend marking as optional
House bar — the revenue stays with the house and lowers the rental fee; the organizer decides whether they want it.
Ticket checks / door staff — scale according to audience size and security requirements.
Buffet table, cloakroom — an additional service the organizer adds when needed.
5. Example: filling in the fields step by step
Below, each screen explains separately what to enter in the fields and why. The example used is a real package, "Concert package" (Valka Cultural Center).

What to check — whether it has been entered under the venue's elements
Photos of the hall with a full audience and from the stage — atmosphere sells.
Description, location, and host.
Maximum capacity: seated and standing — both are critical for a concert.
Why this matters
The organizer immediately assesses capacity and atmosphere; a large standing capacity shows whether the event will pay off.

Why this matters

Optional house bar (revenue to the house, discount code) and ticket checks.
Buffet table as an extra.

Venue rules!
Why this matters
The sound technician is mandatory because it guarantees quality; leave the bar and security service optional so the organizer can decide based on the audience size. The rules and technical readiness are decisive for the organizer — the sound curfew, backstage, and power capacity must be known in advance.
6. What else you could offer
To increase the value of the package, also consider:
a lighting and LED screen package,
a cloakroom service,
security and door staff in tiers,
ticket sales integration,
backstage catering for performers,
recording and streaming,
a merch stand,
parking and traffic management
a VIP area.
Price these as optional — that way they add value and increase the average order without raising the base price.
A good culture package sells performance-readiness and security. When the stage, technician, and rules are clear, the organizer books with confidence.
