1. Purpose of the package
The business package gives the organizer a ready-made solution for running a business event with a single booking β seminars, trainings, conferences, product launches, trade fairs, and workshops. One price per participant combines the space, equipment, and catering, so the organizer can compare and book right away.
2. Who the package is for
The business package mainly speaks to two personas, both of whom value clarity and reliability.
Training or HR manager β A company employee organizing a day seminar for 8β30 participants. Values a clear price, smooth organization, and reliable equipment, and compares several offers at once. |
Project manager / initiator β Organizes a strategy day or a product launch; needs a representative space, presentation equipment, and an invoice to the company. |
3. Key elements of the package
The business package stands on four pillars. A reliable space and equipment are the core; catering keeps the rhythm of the day.
Space and equipment (the core) β a seminar room with daylight and a flexible layout, together with a projector, screen, and microphone.
Catering β welcome coffee, a coffee break, and lunch; a fixed menu keeps the rhythm and makes the price predictable.
Extras β WiFi, flip chart, parking, recording.
Clear rules β minimum booking, advance notice, and setup and cleanup time in the room's schedule.
4. Mandatory vs optional β why
Mark as mandatory only what the event cannot happen without β the core of the package. Leave everything else optional so the client can configure the package precisely themselves and is not scared off by a high base price. This keeps the base price low and trustworthy, while the extras raise the average order.
We recommend: Mandatory β the core of the package
Seminar room (with presentation equipment) β the core of a business event; without a reliable room and equipment there is no seminar.
Coffee break β keeps the rhythm of the day and is what participants expect; a small but important mandatory part.
We recommend: Optional β upselling
Buffet lunch (minimum number of portions) β some trainings are short and don't include lunch; let the client choose based on the length of the day.
24 h / accommodation add-on β for two-day trainings; most will leave it unselected.
Additional equipment, recording β needs-based added value.
5. Example: filling in the fields step by step
Below, each screen explains separately what to enter in the fields and why. The example used is a real package, "Full-day seminar package" (Baltic Development Center).
Venue page
What to check β whether it has been entered under the venue's elements
Representative photos of the room in different layouts (theatre, classroom, U-shape).
Venue description, location, and host.
Maximum capacity (seats) next to the room.
Why this matters
A business client immediately assesses professionalism and capacity; photos in different layouts show that the room suits exactly their format.
Package name, key elements
What to add to the package
Package name and content (who it suits). We recommend always stating the package length in the business package name (full-day, half-day) and, where possible, the main purpose.
Mandatory seminar room with a price and layouts: Seated, Meeting room, Classroom, U-shape.
Why this matters
The room is the basis of the choice; the layout options allow adapting it for a training, discussion, or presentation.
Mandatory coffee break + optional buffet lunch (minimum 8 portions).
Set and check that the Icons β freedoms for the client are correct: own food allowed, own alcohol not allowed, no tickets, representative on site.
Set and check the booking settings (minimum 1 h, 14 days' advance notice) and accessibility (wheelchair, lift).
Why this matters
Coffee break mandatory, lunch optional β this way the package suits both half-day and full-day events; the rules and accessibility set expectations up front.
6. What else you could offer
To increase the value of the package, also consider:
interpretation equipment and streaming or recording,
a teamwork facilitator or team trainer,
a flip chart and stationery,
on-site parking and charging,
dinner or a networking reception,
accommodation for two-day events,
on-site IT support, and
a green/zero-waste package.
Price these as optional β that way they add value and increase the average order without raising the base price.
A good business package sells smoothness and reliability. When the space, equipment, and food come at one clear price, the organizer books without a long email exchange.
