1. Purpose of the package
The party package gives a group a private party venue and clear rules with a single booking. It is designed for birthdays, bachelorette and bachelor parties, afterparties, and get-togethers with friends. The client sees right away what is included in the price, how long the party can go on, and what they may bring themselves.
2. Who the package is for
The party package mainly speaks to two personas. Write the package description in their language β privacy, freedom, and a clear total cost.
Friend-group organizer β A private individual organizing a private party for 10β100 guests β a birthday, bachelorette or bachelor party, or afterparty. Values privacy, the freedom to bring their own food and drinks, and a clear total price with no surprises. |
Team lead β A company employee organizing a team evening or afterparty. Wants a worry-free private evening, an invoice to the company, and clear rules so that responsibility is settled. |
3. Key elements of the package
A good party package stands on four pillars. Privacy and freedom are the core; clear rules keep the risks under control.
Space and privacy (the core) β a party room in private use where music and a DJ are allowed. The whole venue for one group only.
Catering and freedom β own food and drinks allowed, or a bar service on site; a minimum quantity keeps the price predictable.
Entertainment and extras β sound equipment and a DJ booth, party lighting, a bar, billiards, a cloakroom.
Clear rules β quiet hours and end time, corkage fee, age limit, security deposit, minimum and maximum booking time.
4. Mandatory vs optional β why
We recommend marking as mandatory only what the event cannot happen without. Leave everything else optional so the client can configure the package precisely themselves and is not scared off by a high base price. This keeps the base price low and trustworthy, while the extras raise the average order.
Mandatory β the core of the package
Hall (minimum spend) β the whole venue for one group; the minimum spend ensures that a private rental pays off even for a smaller group.
Party buffet (minimum number of portions) β food is the main cost of a party; a minimum quantity protects against orders that are too small and makes the total price predictable.
Optional β upselling
Drinks package β some groups bring their own drinks; don't force everyone to pay, let them choose.
DJ / party lighting β the party format is a matter of taste; some come with their own playlist.
Billiards, accommodation, decor β added value that raises the average order without inflating the base price.
5. Example: filling in the fields step by step
Below, each screen explains separately what to enter in the fields and why. The example used is a real party package, "Full-evening private party package".
Venue page
What to check β whether it has been entered under the venue's elements
Venue name and high-quality party photos β evening lighting, a group, the bar.
A short description of the venue's atmosphere, the exact location on the map, and the host's name.
Maximum capacity: seated and standing. For a party package, the standing capacity is often more important β show both.
Why this matters
This page decides whether the client clicks further at all β its content applies to all packages of this venue. The "from" price shown on the package card gives an immediate first impression.
Package name, key elements
What to add to the package
A specific package name in the language of the event and a 2β3-sentence description: who it is for and which freedoms apply.
The mandatory room marked "Mandatory" with a price. Add all layouts suitable for a party: Standing, Seated, Banquet, Cabaret.
An optional bar or extra room as a separate card.
Why this matters
The room is what the client bases their choice on. The choice of layouts lets them define the party format themselves β a standing dance party or a seated dinner.
Mandatory party buffet with a minimum quantity (e.g. "Min 30 portions"). Note that it counts toward the minimum spend and that the cake can be brought by the client.
Optional drinks package, billiards, and party lighting.
Why this matters
The mandatory vs optional distinction keeps the price predictable and raises the average order without putting pressure on the client.
Check the 4 most important rules shown as icons: own food, own alcohol + corkage fee, ticketed events, representative, age limit.
Booking settings: minimum 4 h, maximum 8 h, 7 days' advance notice.
Room features (own music, DJ, separate entrance) and venue rules (quiet hours, security deposit).
Why this matters
The rules set expectations and mitigate risks before the booking. For a party package, the quiet hours and end time, and the alcohol and age rules, are critical.
6. What else you could offer
To increase the value of the package, also consider:
karaoke,
a photo booth or photo corner,
a cocktail workshop or bartender show,
themed decor and balloons,
a games or activity host,
a smoke machine and extra lighting,
a night transfer or taxi,
next-morning brunch,
a cake or kringle order.
Price these as optional β that way they add value and increase the average order without raising the base price.
A good party package sells privacy and peace of mind. When the space, price, and rules are clear in one place, the group books right away β without a single extra email.
