In this stage, you fill in the most important information about your venue, giving clients a clear first overview of your offering. This is your venue's landing page, and its role is to create as much "appetite" as possible to click on your profile and start booking your venue.
1. Add a name and description for your venue
The venue name and description are required fields.
The description is especially important because it helps the client understand:
What the venue offers
What its character and atmosphere are like
How it differs from other venues
What kinds of events the venue is best suited for
In short: "sell" your venue as well as you can :)
2. Add the address and location
Enter the venue's exact address. This helps clients better understand where the venue is located and how to get there.
3. Upload photos of your venue
Adding photos is a very important part of presenting your venue.
We recommend uploading at least 5 photos (you can add up to 10 in total)
You can rearrange the photos and choose which one is the cover photo (simply grab a photo and drag it back and forth in the order)
The cover photo is the first image clients see, so choose it carefully
Our warm recommendation is to also include so-called atmosphere shots with people in them, as this helps a potential client better imagine what their own event could look like there.
4. Set the venue type
Select all the venue types that describe your venue. This helps your venue stand out better in searches and gives clients a clearer picture of what to expect.
5. Set the venue's restrictions and parking options
In this section you can specify, for example, whether:
Ticketed events are allowed
The venue has an age restriction
The client can do a so-called "self check-in" upon arrival
The venue is accessible by car or public transport, what the parking options are, etc.
Select only the options that describe your venue as accurately as possible.
In addition, if you wish, you can note down your venue's opening hours. These limit the duration of bookings. The closing time can also be on the following day (e.g. 09:00–03:00).
6. IMPORTANT: Write down the venue rules
In the "House rules" field, write down all the venue rules that clients must review and agree to before making a booking (e.g. time-based noise restrictions, who is responsible for cleaning or for broken inventory, etc.).
7. Move on to the next step
Once the venue details are filled in, click "Next" and continue with adding spaces.
