After writing down your venue details, you can continue with adding spaces. Each space must be added separately. Follow the step-by-step guide 👇🏼
1. Add a name for the space
Write down the name of the space. If you haven't come up with specific names for your venue's spaces before, you can do so now, or add some other keyword that would help clients better understand the nature/location of the space (e.g. "1st floor hall").
2. Describe the space
Describe in a few sentences what the space looks like, where it is located, and what kinds of events it is best suited for, or add any other important information that gives the client a good understanding of what kind of space it is.
3. Select the space type
Indicate whether it is an indoor or outdoor space. Outdoor spaces also include terraces, balconies, outdoor tents, and the like.
4. Add photos of the space
Add up to 10 photos of the space. Here too, we recommend adding both photos where the space is empty and so-called atmosphere shots with people in them. This gives the client a vision of what their event could look like at your venue.
5. Add amenities
Next, you will see dozens of different amenities and perks that you can mark for your space. Be careful not to "over-promise" here or mark amenities that the space doesn't actually offer. Be honest and transparent with clients.
6. Specify accessibility and rules
Here you can specify, for example:
How the space can be entered
Whether clients may use their own DJ or music
Whether the space has noise restrictions and at what times they apply
7. Set the prices
When it comes to prices, it is important to remember that all prices must be added including VAT so that the client sees the final price.
In addition to the standard hourly price, you can also add a daily price and special prices. Special prices can be added for specific periods (e.g. public holidays), days of the week (e.g. a higher price on Fri–Sun), and times of day (e.g. cheaper from 9:00–17:00, more expensive from 18:00–23:00).
8. Specify the booking conditions
Here you can set, for example:
The minimum booking duration
The minimum time between bookings
The booking notice period, i.e. how far in advance the client should book this space
Once the conditions are in place, click "Add space".
9. The space has been added! 🥳
Now you can add more spaces or move on to the next step, "Accommodation".
Good to know: If your venue does not offer accommodation, catering, entertainment, or additional services, you can skip those steps. However, as the final step, you must add the package(s) that clients can start booking on your profile.
