What to Do if the Final Invoice for a Booking Turns Out Higher Than Originally Booked?

Written by Paula Straume

Example: the client initially booked the rooms for 3 hours, but on the day of the event negotiated on site with the venue's representative and booked 1 additional hour.

Solution: yes, such changes can still be made. In that case, payment for the additional part would be made directly to the host either:

  1. On site in cash/by card

  2. Or, if the invoice has already been uploaded to the Venueplace system, by bank transfer directly to the host's bank account according to the details stated on the invoice.

In summary: no separate payment needs to be made through Venueplace/Stripe anymore. Settlement takes place directly between the organizer and the venue.
