Personal Account vs. Business Account – Which One to Choose?

When you start registering a Venueplace account, you have 2 options: a personal account and a business account.

  • You can use a personal account for those occasions when you want to book a venue yourself as a private individual. So if you never plan to add a venue to Venueplace or, for example, book a venue for your company's event, choose "Personal".

  • You can use a business account for:

    • Listing your own venue and receiving bookings.

    • Searching for venues and booking events for your company as a business client.

💡 Good to know: the moment you create a business account, a personal user is automatically created for you under the same email address. And even if you start with a personal account, you can later add your organization under the same email address (in other words, activate a business account). In short – you do not need to create multiple Venueplace accounts for different purposes.

You can conveniently switch between the business and personal account via the menu in the top left corner (see the image below).
