Venueplace does not currently have a mobile app, as Venueplace works equally well on a computer, phone, and tablet.
As an alternative, most hosts have added Venueplace to their phone's home screen as a so-called shortcut — meaning a Venueplace icon appears on your phone's home screen that takes you straight to your account dashboard. In practice, this solution works just like an app.
On an Android phone, do the following:
Open Chrome.
Go to the Venueplace website (or go directly to the link https://www.venueplace.com).
Log in to your account (if your phone offers it, also tap "Save password").
Once you are logged in to your account, select your business account from the top left corner.
Then look at the top right corner of the screen, where you will find the menu. Tap it.
From the menu that opens, select "Venues".
Now look again at the top right corner of the screen (browser), where you will find three dots. Tap them.
From the menu that opens, select "Add to Home Screen".
Enter a title, e.g. "Venueplace", and tap "Add".
And that is how the Venueplace "app" should land on your phone's home screen.
On an Apple phone, do the following:
Open Safari or Chrome (whichever is your main web browser).
Tap it.
From the menu that opens, select "Venues" and then tap your venue.
After you have landed on your venue's dashboard, look at the bottom of the browser, where you will find a square-shaped button with an arrow coming out of it in the middle (the Share button). Tap it.
From the menu that opens, select "Add to Home Screen".
Enter a title, e.g. "Venueplace", and tap "Add".
And now the Venueplace icon should likewise have appeared on your phone's home screen.
